Protect your K-9 partners on the job

Professionally trained K-9 dogs are a valuable and expensive asset - and a working companion.

Every year the media features stories of dogs succumbing to excessive temperatures while left in locked vehicles - including police units.

Unfortunately, sometimes an incident on the job separates the officer from the dog who must be left in be left in the patrol unit. This often cannot be avoided.

Our hardware plugs into the USB port of your vehicle, and it has a long-lasting battery if it gets disconnected. With the sensor tag located in your vehicle you will always know if the temperature exceeds the set temperature limits with text alert messages.

Since the gateway unit is GPS enabled, it also acts as a vehicle locator.

Get real-time data and alerts when it matters most

Measurements flow from your Bluetooth sensor tag to the mavenPRO service in real-time.  Access your data anytime, from anywhere, through our Cloud-based service using any web browser.

Other products rely on Wi-Fi availability, or connect to your phone in order to upload data - severely limiting their utility when you’re away from your facility, or if the power or internet goes down.

Our gateways have an internal battery and stay operational for days without power, and our sensor tags will continue collecting data if they lose the connection with a gateway and transit all measurements once they reconnect.

Temperature issues are a real problem for animals locked inside

Stories abound of animals left locked in vehicles that are overcome by heat.  When an inside temperature gets to 80F (27C), a dog can go into distress.

The gateway comes with powerful magnets to adhere to a metal surface or be placed under under the seat.  It is powered by a USB cable and plug. No network configuration required; installation is simple.

Affix self-adhesive sensor tags practically anywhere in your vehicle, usually in the area your dog occupies.  Then place the gateway within range of the sensors (50 meters /150 feet), usually under a seat, and press the button to bring it online. Done!

This unique system means mavenPRO Monitoring can easily scale with all of the department’s K-9 units to easily view the central dashboard software in the Cloud.

It also serves to geo-locate all vehicles equipped with a mavenPRO unit.

Automatic, zero-configuration sensor replacement

Our battery-operated tags will run out of power and need to be replaced after about six months of operation (our very low temperature probe tags will last a year). We don’t think you should have to worry about ordering replacements, or configuring them once installed.  So your subscription to mavenPRO Monitoring includes replacement sensors, sent to you automatically! We monitor the uptime and battery level of all sensors deployed across the mavenPRO system, and we will ship you a new pre-configured sensor labeled with its zone when it’s time for a replacement.Once you activate the new sensor tag, our system will immediately move the data stream for that zone to the new tag - all you have to do is remove the old tag and affix the new tag in place.
